This is a 3-hour hands-on experience for teams of up to 4 people—ideal for anyone who’s ever dreamed of building a robot but never quite got around to it. Now’s your chance to turn that dream into reality.

What to Expect:
🔧 Workshop Tour
Begin your day with a guided tour of our workshop. See where we design and build some of the UK’s top Heavyweight robots, alongside a range of engineering projects for various industries—including a Guinness World Record-breaking toaster, autonomous game playing robots, and much more.
We’re also home to the UK’s largest collection of classic Robot Wars robots, including legends like Axe Awe, Exterminator, Gabriel, and even the original moulds used by the BBC to create the iconic House Robots.
🤖 Time to Build
After the tour and all your questions answered, it’s time to roll up your sleeves. You and your team (or just you, if you’re flying solo) will build your very own Featherweight Robot. No experience necessary—we’ll provide all the tools, components, and guidance you need.
And yes, you get to take your robot home—a build worth £250, all included in the price!

With your robot built and tested, it’s time for the fun part:
• Live demo from a top axe-powered robot from the Extreme Robots tour—watch it destroy a microwave in seconds.
• Driving challenge – test your skills in a timed assault course.
• Robot football – it’s fast, it’s chaotic, and there are no red cards.
• Battle arena – take on other teams… and maybe even a House Robot!
